Cupra Formentor
The new Cupra Formentor is a small SUV available in New Zealand from $57,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the V variant and topping out at $119,990 for the VZ5 variant.
There are 3 variants of the Formentor available in New Zealand and this generation went on sale in early-2025.
The new Formentor is offered with a 5 year, 100,000 km warranty.
Engine options for the Cupra Formentor include 1.5L in-line 4-cylinder turbo hybrid (110kW/250Nm), 1.5L in-line 4-cylinder turbo hybrid (200kW/400Nm), 2.0L in-line 4-cylinder turbo (228kW/400Nm) and 2.5L in-line 5-cylinder turbo (287kW/480Nm). Non-electric variants are available with 7-speed automatic dual clutch sequential trans (dct) or 6-speed automatic dual clutch sequential trans (dct) transmissions. Both front-wheel drive and 4x4 configurations are available.
