    Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi has a long-standing history in New Zealand, originally established through local assembly by Todd Motors in Porirua before transitioning to a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation in 1987. The brand has consistently been a top performer in the local market, frequently leading new vehicle sales through its range of SUVs and light commercial vehicles. Known as a pioneer in electrification, Mitsubishi introduced the world's first mass-produced electric car and the first plug-in hybrid SUV, with the Outlander PHEV and Eclipse Cross PHEV becoming staples of the country's low-emission fleet.

Today, the lineup is headlined by the Triton ute and the Outlander, which remains one of New Zealand's most registered passenger vehicles. Supported by an extensive national dealer network, the brand continues to focus on reliability and value for Kiwi motorists.
