The new Hyundai Kona is a small SUV available in New Zealand from $42,990 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the Active variant and topping out at $65,990 for the N Line Limited variant.
There are 4 variants of the Kona available in New Zealand and this generation went on sale in mid-2023.
The new Kona is offered with a 6 year, 200,000 km warranty.
Engine options for the Hyundai Kona include 1.6L in-line 4-cylinder hybrid (104kW/265Nm), 1.6L in-line 4-cylinder turbo (146kW/265Nm) and 2.0L in-line 4-cylinder (110kW/180Nm). Available with automatic continuously trans with manual mode, 6-speed automatic dual clutch sequential trans (dct) or 8-speed automatic transmissions. Both front-wheel drive and 4x4 configurations are available.
