2027 Porsche Taycan update gets fake gear shifts, up to 700km range

The new Porsche Taycan is a luxury available in New Zealand from $226,000 (MLRP, excl. on-roads) for the base variant and topping out at $487,900 for the Turbo Gt variant.
There are 7 variants of the Taycan available in New Zealand and this generation went on sale in mid-2024.
The new 2026 Taycan is offered with a 3 year, unlimited km warranty.
Engine options for the Porsche Taycan include electric motor (300kW/410Nm), electric motor (300kW/610Nm), electric motor (320kW/610Nm), electric motor (440kW/710Nm), electric motor (515kW/790Nm), electric motor (650kW/890Nm), electric motor (700kW/1110Nm) and electric motor (760kW/1240Nm). All variants feature 2-speed automatic transmission. Both rear-wheel drive and 4x4 configurations are available.
