Zeekr is a premium electric vehicle brand under the Geely Holding Group, sharing technology and platforms with sister brands Volvo, Polestar, and Lotus. Founded in 2021, the brand combines Chinese manufacturing with European engineering and design, coordinated through its global design centre in Gothenburg, Sweden. Distributed in New Zealand by the Giltrap Group, Zeekr launched locally in 2025 with a lineup headlined by the Zeekr X compact SUV and the 009 luxury MPV. Built on the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA), Zeekr vehicles focus on delivering high-tech features, rapid charging capabilities, and luxury finishes to the premium electric market.
